Golf de Moliets
It will take about one hour to get there from Biarritz, as it is about 50 Kilometres north along the coast. Just sit back and enjoy the Landes countryside as we chauffeur you there. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr, this exceptional 27 hole course will definitely be worth the wait !
Moliets is a venue for the European Challenge Tour as part of the European circuit, where each September they play a qualifying competition. It is a real feast for the eyes and therefore hardly surprising that it regularly features in the Top 100 continental European courses. For 2009 / 2010 it is rated at number 85 in the Golf Digest list of the best courses outside of the USA. The golf course cuts through a beautiful pine forest and then opens up to four links holes, which are almost on the seashore … they are a real joy to play and thankfully, due to its location on the coast, relatively flat.
Some of the walks between holes will give you time to write a postcard home, but this in no way detracts from what is a superb championship course, just enjoy the walk and we hope .. great golf. Moliets boasts a very hospitable clubhouse serving a great plat du jour .. a recurring theme throughout all the Biarritz golf courses we have selected.

can derive pleasure. Mr Trent Jones does not design bad courses and Golf de Moliets is absolutely no exception ”
