Golf de Moliets

The furthest golf course from Biarritz that is currently in our selection. Sit and relax whilst you are chauffeured through the Landes countryside on your way to one of few Robert Trent Jones's creations in France. Gold de Moliets is classed as one of the top 25 courses in Europe having hosted many prestigious championships and is acknowledged to be one of the country's most enjoyable 18 holes.

Pine trees and Ocean

Are we glad that President Francois Mitterrand wanted a decent golf course to enjoy during his frequent trips home to Moliets from his affairs of state in Paris. With his influence and commitment it was always going to happen and so in 1989, Robert Trent Jones was summonsed from across the pond and given a large slice of the Landes countryside to  play with. His superb creation, that is now Golf de Moliets, was constructed through the pine trees and spills out alongside the Atlantic Ocean where four testing links holes wait to test you.

Championship course

This championship course at Golf de Moliets is well worth the trip north from Biarritz . Relatively flat and built on sandy soil Golf de Moliets Is playable all year round, always in good nick and a great test for even the lowest handicapper in your group. With lots of trees lining the fairways waiting to swallow up errant drives, you will need to bring your straight game to Golf de Moliets. Some of the walks from green to tee will allow you to write a postcard home so if you are not in possession of all your body parts, a buggy is worth considering. There is a great welcome for you here as all of the Golf de Moliets team are very engaging. Fantastic place... we love it.
